As we all know, landowner vouchers have gone way up in the last 5 years or so. In 2013 I purchased a voucher for $3,500 (3 of them), the same voucher in 2017 cost me $6,000. Is there an end to the increases? In 2017, did tags stabilize and some go unsold?, or was there plenty of demand and we can anticipate vouchers continuing on the same trend?

I had seen in the 2017 season where LO's were practically begging someone to buy. Usually doesn't happen.

The demand is still there but you are finding more and more that "tag sellers" are scooping them all up. They pay just a little more...front the money to the LO....and they are holding all the tags to sell to whomever. Like any investment it can pay off big or it can bite you.

The LO tags in my unit go before they are published 6 to 7k and when most guys call price is not an issue ...Tags in high demand units are in as much demand has they ever have been. Bull or cow they go fast !

What is the range on cow tags?

Cow tags on average $750 for the voucher and maybe less. It is the bull tags that go high.

Not very long ago cow tags were $200-300, but no longer.
