I'm excited to see if we drew the same area as last year or if we'll be hunting OTC. If we are doing OTC then I am going to completely start over in a new area. If we draw the same area then I am going to start the backpacking preparations.

Next time I go out West I am going to bottle a jar of elk that piss-mud stuff that they wallow in. You know how the thing in the NFL now is to take a quick toot of ammonia for a pick me up? I see nothing wrong with doing that at 2:30 when an excel spreadsheet starts to look like hallucinations or I am near death in a conference call.

Just 203 days to the Colo opener (210 days to September). But who's counting? Personally, I'd be fine if the last week of August was a month long!

Looks like im going this year. Third time out which hopefully is the charm. Got drawn back 2 yrs ago on a 4 or 5point bull so this year im really hoping to put one on the ground. Going earlier this time expecting to find the elk at all the spots we found the 2-3 week old sign from past hunts.
