Nice pics! I can't wait for the games to begin. Bareshaft tuned turkeys arrows this weekend. Found some 145 grain snuffers hanging in a shop couple weeks ago and they will be my turkey head this year.

Just got off the phone yesterday. All set again for Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, Michigan and Ontario I'm slowing down a bit this spring so I can get a longer note for the fall ! I also just started shooting left handed this week so should be interesting to see if I can get some blood on this new bow !

Last year I lost my "honey hole" that I had for 20 years, so I've been looking for a new spot. I'm ready but I may need to hunt public land for awhile.

Fired up... going to the NWTF Convention in Nashville in the morning. I have got 4 decorative calls, a matched set of decorative calls, and 3 hunting calls entered in the callmaking competition. I'll be hunting the usual Alabama & Tennessee ground and making a return trip to hunt Kentucky with Dan at Pennyrile Outfitters.

Not me. The ground’s too hard to push the decoy stakes in right now! I’ll be ready in a couple of months, though.

Getting close for sure! Up here in Alberta we have to put in a draw for turkeys...takes like 10 years. I love hunting gobblers, and although I have had terrible luck with my bow, I believe this is going to be my year. I love coming Stateside into your awesome country.

I've got hunts planned for all 4 species (going for a 1 season slam) but since I'm just getting back into bowhunting and out of practice, I'm taking the shotgun. Next year I hope to take some with stick and string. I love turkey hunting...probably more than deer.

Midwest - we have a ton of birds in MA. Within 1-1.5hrs of Boston, and a good bit of public land you can hunt. Not sure you want to carry all your stuff if it's a work trip or what not, but happy to offer ideas on areas etc if you want to hunt here when out this way.

I can't wait. I don't much time anymore but I usually get a few days out and fill a couple of tags. For the last 10 or so years I only hunt them with a stick bow and absolutely love it

I'm fairly new to turkey hunting but absolutely addicted. Got my first bird two years ago and had no idea what I was doing. I've learned a lot and plan on tagging one with a bow this year. I assume I probably need to use a ground blind. Any tips and suggestions would be great. Opens in two weeks here in TN.
From: t-roy
19-Mar-18
Good luck, hutch! A ground blind will definitely increase your odds with a bow. Difficult to get drawn without getting busted. If using decoys, don’t be afraid to set them up within 5-10 yds of your blind.
