When I was there in January there were more hogs in there than I have seen in a long time. Some really nice ones, Fox there is nice silver colored boar in there and i have not seen him hanging on meatpole yet, he was a beast curly hair big cutters. Walked by me between two and four in timber when I was stalking on last day and had just shot my hog!

6 hunters, 5 hogs, everyone had shot. Great time! We are scheduled the same 6 hunters for next Feb. 21-23. Could not have been treated better by the Shiloh Crew. Thanks again to them. Good luck to those going soon

Congratulations guys! Y'all put some fine hogs on the meatpole, but the fellowship was even better. Thank you once again for making the trek to Oklahoma and thank you so much for the Maulls! We're going to smoke up a brisket later this week and put it to some good use. See y'all again next February.

Elkman I have shot a lot of hogs at Shiloh with slick tricks, this year I shot some Magnus black hornets and was really impressed with entry and exit holes!!

We see every BH on the market here. Most all work well if you place in the kill pocket.

will mechanicals work on hogs? is it OK to run a rage?

Yes, mechanical BHs work on hogs. With that being said, wide cut head's (like Rage) do not penetrate as well. I do recommend higher poundage bows for wide cut, rear deploying head's. Other variables come into the equation also, but I don't get into policing my hunters equip. I have fact based opinions if people ask though. :-)
