For all you DIY'ers, here's an elk hunt from a friends 6A archery bull hunt last year. If you want to skip the introductions jump to the 3 minute mark. It is truly awesome! BTW, he is 85 years young and going strong! AZ in the fall is an awesome place. There is no such thing as a bad elk tag! Best of luck to all you who have a tag in your pocket!
Truly awesome video! I have some friends who drew 6a this year and we drew 27. Gonna be a looooonnnnng summer.....

Wow thanks for posting
That's an awesome video. This is what huntings all about. Your grandpa's smile said it all. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like they need to issue more tags!!!

Judas Priest! The guy shares a fantastic video with us and some jackwad from the peanut gallery had to make a stupid comment about the music ruining it! I've been in 6A twice in the last 7 years with my Wyoming buddy who drew that archery tag and it doesn't get much better. We were into elk pretty much every day for the entire season both years. We never had that many in one spot at any one time and could never quite get a good bull within archery range, but who cares when they're bugling like that video shows!
Sorry about the music if you don’t like it but I didn’t make it. I think his son did and his grandsons took him hunting . I like it but that’s just me. I am not officially related but he is my mother in laws boyfriend. A nicer guy you won’t find. He has my complete admiration for still getting out there at his age.
Wow! What an awesome video. Thanks for sharing

What a nice way to honor the man who introduced them to the outdoors. His legacy will continue with his great grandchildren.
That can't be 6A!!! ;-) Awesome, love watching Elk at a waterhole...

Oh my.... I love Arizona. Thanks for sharing that. Ed F
What an awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Great video! What a cluster of elk! Not bad for a “lower tier” unit......lol. I think they captured it perfectly.
Creed, I sincerely apologize for being that .... "jackwad from the peanut gallery had to make a stupid comment about the music ruining it! ....
That was one of the best videos I've seen on you tube - or anywhere for that matter. There is no excuse for my behavior!
Very fun video! Congrats to the hunter and to the whole crew.

That was incredible! What an awesome experience that must have been, glad you all got to share it!
Wow, I guess I have been missing out not sitting on a water hole! Since I am getting older, I may have to start... Awesome video!
AZBUGLER, I would rather draw an "average elk unit" like 6A every 3-6 years and hunt rutting elk than sit around and wait 10+ years for a supposedly top tier tag. Worse hunt I was ever on I blew 11 bonus points on a unit 10 tag. The hype sometimes overshadows the reality.
Bruce: I met Ken through Ariz Desert Bighorn Sheep Society work projects. GREAT guy (as is his entire family)! Thanks for sharing the video ...

Wow how cool was that. 85 and still going strong. To hear all the sounds the elk were making too. Im going to use this as a listenig training. Thanks for sharing
A friend of mine out here in CA drew this tag with zero points last week and you can bet I sent him over that video. Now, I just need some GPS Coordinates ;-)...
