Bob used to run Allagash guide service in Maine and moved to Alaska. Wish he was still up in Maine as it was top notch from what I heard. I believe he also survived a bush plane crash in Alaska.

Even after removing the skull plate from the rack, and fleshing/drying etc I'll bet that 98 pound rack still weighs 70-80 pounds (assuming it is not a European mount). Ike, if you ever see a photo of the mount, please share that, too.....were there any estimates on the live weight of the animal? That is a bunch of great meat right there.....
