What's your opinion of the plotsaver system? Is it as good as, or better than electric for deer?

Don’t waste your time with the plot saver. Electric fence is 100x more effective, IMO. I’ve been using the e-fence system for 7-8 years with great results.

That's what I suspected. I may try some ribbon with my e-fences this year. I always have a few deer run through the fence. They could be getting chased by dogs and don't see the fence. I've been using 16g aluminum, might try something more visible.

The turbo tape will definitely help with visibility for sure.

Agreed Pat. The stuff I’m using is 1/2” wide. Way cheap cheaper than that super wide stuff that the horse people use.

Surveyors tape waving in the breeze on efence will help deer sense the fence at night. Have used that method for a couple years now, works great.

I've been using surveyors tape, but probably not using enough. I tie it on about 20ft centers. The wind seems to bunch it up at the posts. I saw some 1/2" polytape at rural king that I think I'll try.
