Hi Everyone, I was out for a hike yesterday and spotted this ram. It's the second time I've seen him in two years and he is truly an impressive animal. Hoping that some of you with sheep aging/scoring experience could weigh in on how old/big he really is. Thanks!

I’d go with 165-170”. Can’t make out the rings for age Burt would guess him at 7-8 years old - can be a lot of variation between different groups of sheep for size of horns vs age. Beautiful ram!

7 yrs old and 165” from what I see. Clarity on photos isn’t good enough to be precise though.

Looks like a tight curl "S32 type" ram, maybe in the 160 class.

Greg, Do you think 30" L and 34" R or an inch more? Bases are decent, 14-1/2"? Kurt

Pictures were taken on an iphone, apologies for the quality. I was estimating at 175-180 so it sounds like I may have been way off. I'll take some better pictures when I see him next.

His left side looks more massive but hes got lots of character which is better than inches in my book. I saw a gnarly old ram busted off 3 inches from his head..broomed on the other side and a busted up face...I would tale taken him over his handsome 7/8 lamb tip buddy

155--160
Like stated above, tight curl more like a softball than a soccer ball inside curl.
Beautiful Ram for sure

Tight curl and not a lot of length but looks like decent mass that carries fairly well. Hard to tell from those pics but 160-ish. A handsome ram non-the-less!
