Got an email from Jack Hume Adventures today. Was expecting it to talk about their new fishing camps in northern Quebec. Was very surprised to see they will now be outfitting in Newfoundland for woodland caribou carbon and moose! Couldn't be happier for them.

If anyone gets to fish the Leaf River they won't be disappointed. I caught big Atlantic salmon on dries I tied myself, and giant brookies, on every trip while caribou hunting. I'd go back in a minute if they have that area for fishing.

I saw that too, but after talking to Amanda, found out they aren't outfitting in NL, they're simply referring clients to a good outfitter there.

I just got an email from Amanda stating that same thing. Dang it! I love those guys. Their email clearly stated Jack Hume Adventures Newfoundland caribou. ??
