Just a friendly reminder for those entering the Kansas deer draw. The deadline is the 27th.
I have heard that next year Kansas will be requiring a general hunting license to be on file when entering the draw. They switched the license to a 365 day license from date of purchase.
Does anyone know if a person can get by with 2 years of apps off a general hunting license?

You have to buy the hunting license this year to apply for the deer lottery.
I'm assuming you'll be able to get 2 years of deer lottery applications if you time it right but you'll still have to buy a hunting license as the one you bought the previous year will be expired by the time deer season comes around.
