Turkey from the past.

My good friend, Byron Ferguson, joined me on a hunt in 1998. I used an old home made box call to put a nice gobbler inside 15-yards for The Ferg.

This call is at least 55-years old. It is still about the only one I use. I don't hunt turkeys much, know very little about it. My technique is to yelp three times and take a nap. It works more than you might think. No decoys to carry, no gagging on a diagram, or whatever they are, no ki-ki run, no fly down cackle. Just call them where they want to go. And...of course, you must wear ASAT...or shorts.
