Yzf are you looking at pending authorization or only looking for actual charges posted after the pending authorization period has completed. Huge different timeframe each shows up.
They conduct and draw and hit cards for the deer and elk before touch the OIL stuff. Since many have pending authorization for OIL tags I am dubious you have a deer tag coming but no pending authorization already on file. I could be wrong but every year guys totally misread what is actually happening.
As for me I believe I know I have no drawn tags thinking they are done hitting cards already.

I am looking at actual charges to my card. My co-workers still don't have charges for general deer tags. Many of us put in for 100% draw tags as well.

KHunter, that's not how I understand it from years past just reading about people getting their cards hit. They do have an order for which they do the draw, but they don't have an order in which they hit cards. They do the entire draw, then start hitting cards (how I understand it).

I have Chase for my card and it showed up last night about 8 and its showing as pending. Now I gotta talk my wife into wanting to go to Vegas to visit her mom. Then I can scoot over to the Southwest Desert to scout. :) Just gotta sell it right

Seems I was successful on a random Book Cliffs / Wild Horse Bench hunters choice bison tag. What a shocker. OIL tag was not something that I really planned on. Any info would be appreciated.

Apparently they gave out 2 NR archery tags for Henry Mt bison. I received an email this morning stating that I was successful. It looks like Randy and I will be chasing the same bison. I've been dreaming about this for 20 years.

A recent email just confirmed my suspicion that my UT app would follow my NM apps. No matter, my kids have enough hunts to keep me busy this fall/winter. Still waiting on my daughter's results.
Besides, if I feel like I need to go, there are a couple of OTC opportunities out there...

I counted 9 and there are a lot more than just this forum. That number would increase for the random draws if they did away with expo tags...
The only thing max points do for you in UT is help you on the first half of the allocated tags for a hunt. There are no guarantees unless you're the only guy or there are enough tags the first go around.
For a point system, UT has the best.

Utah’s point system was MUCH better before SWF stole all those NR tags. Now it is very hard for a guy who has been putting in for over 20 years to PLAN on drawing in most units.
