Colorado and apparently NM are experiencing drought and probable forest closures. CO 76 elk has been mentioned and I imagine 74 early deer would be in the same category.
What happens if you can't hunt the entire season? I've got 19 points in my deer tag so it has some meaning to me. Imagine a lot of others would be affected.

If you can't hunt your unit due to a closure, you'll get a refund and your points back.

Let's hope the hurricane throws some rain our way. Would be quite sad if I don't get to chase bulls this year!
