Just wondering what your opinion is the most accurate vane to fletch your hunting arrows with is?

I use feathers most of the time. When I use vanes, I use 4” vane-Tec. They have worked very well for me.

Blazer...They just work for me! I've updated with them over the years, but never had any problems...

I try something new every year, but always go back to Blazers. They have their short comings, but I always seem to go back to them...

feathers but they are just too big a pain in the ass to deal with. Give me guaranteed good weather and a feather, but with risk of rain a vane. you can never count on weather but you can always count on a vane

Flex fletch probably makes the best vane. Currently using AAE plastifletch max. They are tough and a good vane. Blazers are one of the most over marketed vane in my opinion.

Best fletching to steer a BH - Trueflight feather - 4" shield cut. ATSKO fletching waterproofing - never had an issue in nearly 40 years.

Best vane - FlexFletch - FFP-360

By far the Flex Fletch SK 300. Second place is my old trusty FFP 360 Flex Fletch.

Not exactly a vane but for 14 plus years now I have found the FOB device superior, for my purposes, to vanes and / or feathers.

Buckwatcher is the ATSKO waterproofing you use the 4OZ dauber from Lancaster or an aerosol spray can that is not labeled specifically for arrow fletching?

4" parabolic feathers..you can hunt just fine in foul weather to the guys that love em but don't use em in foul weather. It's not hard at all with some care/steps/preparation.

I have used blazers since they came out. This year i have some AAE Hunter Max vanes on. I like them so far but it seems like every year i end up going back to blazers. Ive used Vanetec in the past as well as Q2I vanes. no complaints from any of them. But we will see. The memory of blazers if really good, easy to get, and work with. The AAE vanes im running this year had a little more prep work invovled but they are super stiff and control flight really well.
