317" montana bull. #30 elk with a bow for me.
Some awesome bulls here. 300” is no slouch!
Great stuff guys,thanks for sharing.
Great pics guys. Reinforces that a 300" bull is a stud that most of us mere mortals couldn't pass up.
Here is a bull that we roughly measured at 301" (yes, it was a rifle kill)
Agreed with what's said above. 300"of antler is legit. Great pics guys

Broken bull
the picture didn't attach right. Also added a Broken bull that is about 290" with broken 5/6th on rt. and broken 3rd on left. Would have been about 325" if matching.
Just a bit over! Idaho public land. Net 361 5/8"
Here's a pic of mine, oh wait I haven't killed him yet. Stupid limb.
298 7/8 gross. Missing his right G2.

Super nice Bulls...Any 300" 5X5's?
My buddy's 300 ish bull from 2011...deceiving, because his body and head were so huge. I thought he was just a raghorn 5x5, when I decoyed him in.
Here’s a 289 5x5

What I enjoy about looking at 300” bulls is,
that is a realistic size big bull. Especially a 300” 5x5

Anybody else getting fired up for elk season?!
312 gross 295 net official
That's the one I was looking for Dan...
Hell of a 5 point Danny !! Wish i could find one of those ;)
Indeed John indeed! Getting very fired up!
I think you would have to have a hole in your head to pass up any of those bulls....I know I wouldn`t.
Friggin elk fever right now. Less than 9 weeks and I'll be on the mountain!
Would have grossed about 305 as a 5x5. Went 310+ as a 6x6.
Haven’t scored this one from 2018 but it’s got to be right at 300.
Official, P&Y: 308 4/8 gross, 303 4/8 net
Awesome bulls guys! Is it September yet?
285” gross with a broken left main beam. Would have prolly gone 310-315.
ohio, you’re preaching to the choir. I agree...it’s freakin’ impossible to judge score from a pic. Hard to determine mass, let alone tine length, width, main beam, etc. Just an inch off across the board can darn near result in 20” either way.
If his missing G2 would have matched the other side, he’d have been around 314 gross. The other thing that brought down the score is he’s not very wide. Had no idea one tine was missing when he came by at 40yds, but it wouldn’t have mattered. ;-)
I didn't measure this but my buddy did and said it was 308 gross as a 5x5 and if it was a 6x6 would have been around 335-340. This one came from NM.
To expand on Ohio's thoughts... the mass and thirds on Outdoordude's bull are really impressive. I would have guessed a higher score. Beam length must be short and spread must be relatively narrow...?
You beat me to it Cheese....that bull looks bigger than 300".
Some dang good looking Bulls fella's.
Good luck, Robb
260 on the right, 300 on the left, 321 in the middle.
Thanks for sharing guys. 47 days until opening day for me in Wyoming.

I'm in agreement with Ohio, judging is really tough when look through these pictures. Several pictures I would not guess the elk would be 280 gross. Frame of reference also make judging harder, IE body size. The elk that I posted earlier, on the hoof he looked smaller due to his body size. No question I was taking the shot.

When he turned his head and I saw those 18+ thirds... that's when I drew, he was a past prime tank (who ate like a dream). Even the P&Y scorer went over his numbers twice... but in the end they have to have it all and yes Cheese, he didn't have beam anymore..
I used to whip out a tape measure at camp and tell people to 'stop me when there is 300 inches out there' , most got it way, way wrong.
Crazy impressive 5x5, DGW !!
Something about big 5 point elk and big 8 point whiteys that's just so impressive!
Very nice, good hunting everyone this fall.
My hunting partner's bull.....officially measured 299 7/8" net P&Y
One of mine that officially measured 301 0/8" net
If this one had matching antlers he'd be about 290
Here’s one that my cousin shot back in 2017.....grossed in the 320’s and netted 314.
