He never was my hero and I despise his ego, which is directly geared to his mouth. Nevertheless, he did some good things for the US of A and if he were nominated I would damn sure vote for him again. Having said that, I hope I don’t have to, but I never have and never will vote for a democrat.
Where in that post does he say anything racist in the above? Besides, he don't have to ruin it for the GOP, they've done a good job at that on their own.
I don't have as much heartburn against him as drycreek, but totally agree with drycreek's position. We're whining about Trump's tweets when we have a sitting president that can barely function. Despite them all having flaws, I'll vote for whatever republican candidate gets the nomination. We certainly can't afford 4 more years of democrat leadership (heck, we can't afford the 2 we've had so far!)

I think the original post was simply to indicate the tweet (is it a tweet if it's not from twitter?) does not help. It's like Lindsey Graham's recent legislation on abortion. If you are smart, it is not something you mention or pursue a month out from the mid-terms.
