Anyone here shoot fingers with 2" Blazer Vanes?

Shot 'em a lot from recurves.
Also made up some feathers with the same profile and shot them a bunch.
Not an issue at all if you have a good tune.

I did for many years before I went to a release as my fingers seemed to be losing accuracy and I wanted to be able to wear gloves for warmth.

Need an elevated arrow rest like a Flipper, or at least a Bear Weatherrest or whatever is equivalent today for vanes. Vanes off the shelf do not work if you want decent arrow flight.

I am shooting a 31" compound, with a centerest flipper. I was wanting to try the blazers due to weather conditions. I am using 5" feathers now.

I went from (3) 4" vanes to (3) 2" Blazer when they first came out and didn't notice any difference in accuracy shooting fingers with plunger rest. I still shoot Blazers despite all the new flavors of competitors...

I wouldn't use Blazers with a flipper. Too much contact.

Actually I had forgotten until x-man mentioned it, but that was another reason I switched to a release, there just aren't many options for finger rests anymore and most are fragile.
