anybody have any knowledge of a waterproof spray for raingear/tents ect.

Scotchgard, VIP Silicone Spray, Nik Wax, Camp Dri, Albatross 1074....there are scads.

Atsko Silicone Water-Guard is all I use.

Be careful of some of the ones FDP mentioned above- like the old version of camp dri....the solvent or kerosene base in some of them can wreck quality rain gear.
You want 100% silicone based spray like Atsko.

303 spray , I use it on my camo and boat cover, water runs and beads right off.
