Not to hijack the thread, but with live cams to 'bug' hunting areas, 80+ yard shots, scoped sights, 0% letoff, etc, etc..... What is the justification for long archery seasons?
Seems like archery hunting technology has surpassed that of muzzleloading rifles. Just sayin...

Stix, would appreciate this staying on topic. Not sure what a camera has to do with a weapon type.

From what I see, the only difference is the little solar panel instead of batteries. But you can buy a lot of batteries for the extra $200 this costs vs. Tacticam or similar products. Also, it has to have good sunlight exposure to work, which many game cam locations don't. For surveillance of a jobsite or vehicle, probably ok. But this isn't designed to be a game cam.

Seems to me like these would be more for home or business surveillance. Maybe overkill for a game camera?

The only thing I don't like about these cell cams is you need a subscription. "you will own nothing and like it!!"

Hate subscriptions too. But it’s the only way currently.
