Big Buck found in river

This deer was found floating in my local river in November by barge workers. They originally spotted the arrow sticking out of the deer, and went to investigate and found the deer. The barge workers kept the deer waiting for someone to identify the arrow and broadhead found in the deer but no one came forward. The deer has been turned over to the DNR. The deer rough scores in the 230's as a NT.

Arrow sticking out? Wierd. If the arrow doesn't pass through they usually break it off or pull it out.

With barge traffic I would assume the Illinois or mighty Mississippi but it would be nice to know where, because somebody upstream could identify and get it back
