Good for her, that's a nice one!
Nice! I love late season venison. Seems to have better flavor for some reason.
Congrats to the lady great storyteller as well what a buck Lewis
Dang that's a dandy buck.
Great buck for sure - congrats to her - She's gotta be a happy hunter!
Lots of mass! Congrats to her.
Gotta be the biggest buck of the year (so far).
Super hunt and buck. WOW.
Sounds like was free private land hunt, From the article, :::: she killed the buck on a 120-acre farm in Sheboygan County, in the east-central part of the Badger State. “I’m kind of new to this area,” she says. “Back in the summertime I started knocking on doors and asking for permission. I got a lot of no’s. The property that I ended up shooting him on was one of only two yes’s that I got.”::::
Well there goes the neighborhood!
Wow what a cool buck. Congrats to the lady on a great deer.
Great buck, congratulations!!
40 sits? ....Outstanding.
She is dedicated no doubt, and steady under pressure. That’s a helluva buck ! I would’ve probably had a meltdown !
This deer was taken from my Wis area. The area produces alot of very good bucks, even on the public. The article from F&S, you got to wonder about these writers. I think most of them don't know crap. He writes" she tagged out", hey Wis does not have deer tags. Then he describes her noc as Lumenuiox, can't spell Lumenoc, ??? Happy for her, great buck....
Looks like the classic Wisconsin Upper peninsula of Michigan deer from 100 years ago. When one would occasionally get that old. Some old genes in that one.
Probably somebody’s wife/mother/sister/daughter too, JakeBrake. :-/
Jake, really, wtf? Congrats to her, great buck.
But it was private ground, let’s see her do it on public, on the ground with a recurve and no camo
Iowa Booner Hunter, you must be a miserable person.
Edit^ my SINCERE apologies I missed the sarcasm in your post IBH.
im surprised nobody has accused her of poaching it...
...yet.
Nice rack, congrats to her.
Wow, what a gorgeous buck!
Poaching, it is early yet, just wait, lol
Good for her, great hunt... looks like Jake put on the brake. scentman
That is one awesome buck congrats to her!!!
That's a monster buck..good for her
Nice buck and congrats to the hunter. I'm surprised no one has complained about the cell cam use, even though cell cams are legal in Wisconsin that also is a controversial subject in cheese/beer-land.
There are so many good bucks shot this last season it's ridiculous.... in Wis that is ... Many now shy away from social media I know a guy who has taken his 3rd Pope and Young buck, in the UP in the last 5 years.. and that's not easy...
Outstanding buck, congratulations.
Ground hunter, I agree. I know someone that doesn’t even let locals know of mature deer he kills. Let alone social media. I don’t think it’s prevalent. Because most of us want to share the success. Ans let’s face it. Show off our amazing skills :>)))
"There are so many good bucks shot this last season it's ridiculous.... in Wis that is"
You're not kidding. It seems like this has been the case the last couple of years at least; bigger bucks being harvested and we have seen a noticeable improvement in rack size and overall more older bucks and more deer in general on cams the last couple years too. I think more people are passing smaller bucks the last handful of years and it's starting to show, and I think the mild winters have helped too. It's a great time to be a deer hunter in Wisconsin.
congrats to her ! awesome buck and gotta love the vertical bow !!!!
The boyfriend must be a landlord with a name like that.
Tremendous buck. Well worth 40 sits.
