Anyone with some info on the elk herd in these units? I have hunted south fork trail to nichols creek trail and doe creek with minimal luck in years past down by budges resort.I have also hunted trappers lake trail from indian camp pass again with minimal luck.Any and all info would be appreciated. thanks dtsdan

Hunted Trappers Lake years ago but didn't have a lot of luck. There were a number of camps back there. We backpacked in and camped right on the lake. Have not been there in years though.

There are normally 3 or 4 in our group. WE usually dont see too many other camps,and generally get into some elk. Its just hard hunting the dark timber.
