That shows what I have been saying for years - we have the genetics just not the age structure. If we ahd a 1 buck limit some MAY make it to the age of the above deer .

There was a big one poached up there last year just before rifle season. I wonder if some deer are wandering across the line from Ohio and PA.

So all the states around us have what it takes for big bucks? But we don't? I think not.

ya but id say 90 percent of deer harvest is 2 1/2 or younger especially in np

I also think age is definately one of our big factors. Most deer taken in our state seems to be no more than 2 1/2 but age is'nt always a factor. Milo Hansons world record Saskatchewan's buck was aged at only 3 1/2 and scored a wooping 213 5/8 net points!! I may be opening up a can of worms here but it's just my opinion that if they would lower the limit to 1 buck I think things would change in a few years...

My buddy's buck (pic above) was officially scored on Jan. 7th at 156 1/8" net and 159 3/8" gross. Biologist that scored it said it was most likely a 3 1/2 year old.
