Aoudad

Wondering if anyone on Bowsite has hunted Aoudad in Palo Duro Canyon or Caprock Canyon? if so im looking for info on the two, mainly hunts in the area and if you feel one is better than the other. Any information would be appreciated thanks..

I hunted them with bow in palo duro many years ago on private land bordering park. didn't come close to getting a shot,saw some nice rams ,and fell in love them and have hunted them with a bow all over texas and Nm and have two good rams to show for it and lots or near misses and failed stalks..

The people I've talked to prefer the Palo Duro area but if your willing to travel there are public land areas around Lake Amistad and the Devils river with fair to good numbers. I hunt that area pretty regularly on private land and there are some big ones out there
