Anybody been doing any elk scouting yet?

Planning on coming up for opening weekend and hunting a few days and then heading East to do some elk scouting and just wondering what it is looking like out there. I drew the Hazard LEA for my archery cow tag and really looking forward to getting to hunt elk again, especially so close to home compared to my previous trips out west.
