fishing advice?

We are coming to SE Alabama in a couple weeks. Will be staying in the SE corner not far from Pensacola. I would like to try some bay fishing. I am not a fly fisherman and not interested in big game fishing, just would like to catch a lot of fish. Prefer cast to, set the hook and land as opposed to big water and trolling. Maybe what I seek is not available. Thanks for any advice.

Pensacola Bay Bridge is a public fishing bridge....Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach has a bay side pier.

Great guy...only thing with in-shore charters right now is that it's gator season and they might be doing that right now.....
