Hi there! I just purchased my first bow and have started doing some target practice. Doing pretty good too! (see image - 20 yards) First shots with a compound bow in 20 years, and even back then I only shot three arrows the one time. I have never bow hunted, and since I am originally from Ontario, and havent hunted in years, I have never hunted in Manitoba. I will be starting out just going after some rabbits to work on my skills (also due to not needing a license for them). Any tips, tricks, legal info I need to know about bow hunting? Anything helps. Im not looking to get gps cords for your honey holes, but if you know where there are a few good places to get rabbits close to Winnipeg (where I live) I would appreciate it!

Theres lots of Jack-Rabbits south of winnipeg, all you need is permission to access the land.
