I'm interested in trying backcountry bowhunting this year and would like to meet some other bow hunters looking to do the same. I'm a novice bow hunter, but very experienced in every other skill needed for this type of hunting. If anyone in the Puget Sound (Seattle, Yelm, or Olympia area) is interested in developing an area to hunt in this fall let me know. I've been watching some backcountry bow hunting videos on YouTube and it looks like a lot of fun!

Just keep in mind the area around Puget sound is a rain forest. It makes back country hunting very challenging. However that is the point isn't it :-)
The good news is that September tend to be dryer but...

Did it for many years. It's a lot of fun and the hunting is better the farther you get from the road.
