Shed hunting

Do any of you guys shed hunt in ms? And if so when you start seeing some? I just started last year, managed to find 9 total which I thought was great for 1st time. Let's hear some thoughts and methods. All mine were found in fields, bean fields

yes. if you can beat others to the food plots great place to start. found my first last week of hunting season. our deer very stressed and dropping early this year.
bedding areas could prove very fruitful and trails leading in/out from them.

It's a year or so old, but nice mass for Mississippi. I picked it up turkey hunting a few days ago.
