I am looking maybe moving there is there anybody that lives there that can tell me about the area my son lives in O.K. city we want to move closer but not on top of them we like the country area looked on the computer it looks really nice any taxidermy shop in the area please let me know Fats

If I ever moved back to Okla. I would live near Talequah, OK and Lake Tenkiller area or Tishimingo area. Your son would be about 1.5-2 hrs. away from either of those beautiful areas of Okla.

I am lucky enough to live in the Tahlequah area and we have some awesome lakes, rivers and good hunting with several PHA/GMA areas nearby in every direction. Good area with good people...

If you are after deer hunting I would look at the northern tier of Ok.

If your looking for friendly people, western OK is the place. Ive had friends move west from eastern OK and say its like going back in a time machine 30 years, old fashioned sensibilities and genuine people.
Definately more water in eastern OK.
