I've been trout fishing the big peninsula area for the past few years, and think that I may try hunting this area this year. Do any of you guys hunt here or have hunted here in the past? I see that the laws changed this year and it's archery only which is a good thing.

That's what I figured, I'm planning on getting pretty far back in the property maybe far enough away from everyone else where the deer aren't as pressured. As far as my experience from hunting state lands you need to get in super super early and hope that the guys sneaking in just before daylight push the deer to you. That's my plan at least. I did have a question though, not sure if you know I have the access permit, but besides that and a hunting license is there anything else that i will need to hunt the property? Here in CT there is a seperate lottery that you have to apply for. I wasn't able to find anything like that for kensico. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
