Good possiblity of moving to the Dallas area before end of summer. Just looking for general information on area. Would like to live within 30-40 miles of downtown. Looking at cities of Grand Prairie, Irving, Carrolton, etc. Have a 16yr daughter that I have to consider a good school, as well. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

I do quite a bit of work in the DFW area, but I live around San Antonio. You might want to check out Rockwall. Good luck.

Carrolton is the better of the three. I would look at Allen, South Lake, Plano. I lived there 35 yrs, in N. Dallas. Glad I retired and moved from the Metro Mess!
