I watched Fred last night on Easton Bowhunting, boy, does he know how to enjoy himself and have fun. He shot a Huge buck, I think it was a 5 pt, might have scored 40, you would have thought he killed the new state record. I also saw him today on a short video where he was hunting Mnt Caribou, lol, he begged the guide to let him shoot a cow, the guide wouldn't and later Fred killed a big bull. Some might think it's an act for the TV---but it's not. For those that have hunted with Fred they can & will tell you---HE is the Real Deal ! and He hasn't forgot where he came from. I just hope I live long enought to hunt with him again. What a great hunt Lonnie and I had with him,,,hope to do it again some day.

Ron, killing a deer should be a celebration. Not for the rack size alone, but for just the gift of being able to participate and be successful at something. and most of all, to honor the animal with the respect it deserves. a 5 point that scores 40 sounds like fun to me.......enjoy your hunt. forget the vanity others force feed you......kudos to Fred and his character....

I've always been a Fred Eichler fan because he is not a "trophy" hunter like so many you see on TV. He seems down to earth and gets excited about shooting an animal. I'd says he is not a fan of antler restriction or shooting them only because they are 4 years old or older.

Fred has the skull of the spike he killed in WV hanging in his garage (or at least he did a couple of years ago). He does get excited while hunting or even on a 3d range. He just seems to love everything about the sport of hunting. What is really cool is his kids are good kids and both he and Michele are good down to earth people

I will never forget the hunt me and Lonnie had a few years ago with Fred. We paid for a cheap mans do-it-yourself non-guided hunt. When we got to Colorado Fred took us to his and Michele's ranch. He drove us around and showed us some blinds and tree stands--places where he and Michele have hunted. There were some campers there along with anouther house--{I thought if we were lucky we would get to stay in the camper} but said we were going to stay in the house.--we were the only hunters on this ranch all week. I saw later on Eastons Bowhunting where Fred arrowed and killed a bull in a wheat field that me and Lonnie had access to every day. Every night Lonnie called Fred--one night we didn't call and Fred called us--said if we needed ANYTHING to let him know. I didn't know Fred---you know what you see on TV isn't always so---but with Fred--what you see is what you get---He is the Real Deal---I have hunted alot of places and over the Years I would have to say that Fred Eichler and Kruger Human {South Africa}are Tops---they went above and beyond what was Expected. I say this many times--I felt like I was on a guided hunt while hunting with Full Draw Outfitters and Fred---and I hope to do it again someday. GOD bless----------.ron

and I hear that Fred is a paying member of the majority, if not all, state bowhunting organizations. Let any of those horn porn, qdma build a buck crowd match that. Very respectable man it seems.

Fred is a live wire, but one of the most down to earth guys I have ever hunted with. I hunted out there and he spent most of the day showing us places to hunt and it was a non guided hunt. He came here and hunted with M.P. and me and he had a good time. He killed 2 deer nothing big but was very happy.

Fred sent my Granddaughter a signed photo and sentiment of him and the Polar Bear he killed, several years ago. I framed it for her and she has it in her bedroom. She will turn 10 in September. What other person would take time to do that for a small child? Never met him in person, but I know he's a great person, down to earth and caring.
