Are you sure you are not looking at 2013 start date for bow? WVDNR list 2013-2014 dates as Sept 28th...I haven't seen 2014-2015 dates yet.

As a part of useless information posted on bowsite on May 5 2014 it was noted that as of the last DNR Commissioners meeting, bow season for deer and bear from now forward will begin on the last Saturday in September. This year that date will be on September, 27.
Next Monday we are going to have a pop quiz on the topics of the last 3 months. Everyone will be required to score at least a 70% to remain active. The format will be multiple choice.
