I saw my first fawn the other day near the house. Heard one bawling for it's mother last week in Lycoming co.

Seen a little one that could barely walk cross the back yard on Saturday. Mom stayed back a little and watched while she eyed the dog.
Years ago I had a doe chase my English Setter out of the woods when she ventured to close to a fawn. And the dog remained scared of that area for quite awhile.
