Post any new photos you've been getting on your cameras. Cool to see antler progress across the state. Helps us all get excited for September 15th!!
Nice deer ,good to see whats around. Can't wait!!
I saw a real nice one eating along side of the Parkway the other evening...he was an 8 pt almost full grown antlers already
My son said he saw a 6 or 8 on the parkway on the north bound side when we were driving south on Saturday.
I guess I have slow deer up here in northwest ct. Makes em easier to shoot I guess!!
Some bucks. 3rd one looks like a good one.
Damn grizz I wish I could get one that looks like that already to gonthru my property
Buck #3. In other photos you can see scars all over his right side.
You got a lot to choose from there Adam.
Good luck.
Starting to get excited. With 2+ months of growth left a couple are starting to look promising.
That's not a deer that's a long horn :)
I just wanna see one near that size on my property Dan
I just want to see him in 65 days!
This was last season but I would love to see him again!
Love the wide racks, this was my wide rack last year and he's now on my wall, took 13 straight days but I got him . Hunt him hard you will get him.
Nice buck Rob! My problem is I have a bunch of different properties to hunt and end up bouncing around. Really no problem!
Dan, I usually narrow one or two deer I want to really go after and I won't shoot anything else, I have stands for most winds in my properties so as long as the wind is right I will hunt that deer until he makes a mistake, it's not always easy but it's paid off for me almost every year. Good luck to you.
Man U guys r really making me jealous at this point so far I only have pics of a 3 point and one with nubs all the rest r does
just checked cam after lunch .wow!
MGGC
NICE! Private or state?
MGGC, I just had three of that size in my back yard this morning...a real surprise for sure since I live in a neighborhood in Fairfield with no real woods near me
private land BBB. same spot as Brutis here, a few years ago .
Just checked another property.
MGGC great looking buck. I would take two weeks off and hunt him sunrise to sunset until he'd be on my wall
Nice buck ROB, whats on his shoulder?
Saw two nice bucks on the parkway today at 10:30 wont say where but were close to long beard .
No idea MGGC been wondering myself.
I guess you'll have to shoot it to find out.
I have a ton of deer in my little hole, I cant wait!
I believe this to be Buck Norris (Aka Bucky McBuckerson)
Wow hey bird it's almost that time again buddy I'm not getting squat for buck pics but man I have does galour this yr buck Norris will bow down to u.... Yes pun intended on the bow thing.... Lol looking good bud and his little friends r looking like they r gaining a lot of potential
Heatshot you will definately get one this year! I am definately getting excited, I have does as well even one that has been named Notch as she has several notches of ear missing. Cant really figure how that would happen short of running thru really thick briars and having her ear rip as she got caught on them.
Hope to keep posting pics as they grow!
Keep posting bird gonna try and pull my cards this weekend see if anything has changed can't wait to see how much bigger Bucky gets
V only thing he is missing is the cigerette lmao we will see If he helps us this yr got a feeling this yr will be our yr bud
V at least your camera was turned on! Just checked one sunday out for weeks apparently never powered up!
ROBZ7 I'm suspecting that's a papiloma virus wart on the shoulder. My wife shot a deer with several on it a few years ago. Harmless to the deer unless they cover the eyes or nose or mouth... but according to the biologists that checked it out, not uncommon, and not terminal.
Beautiful deer..
Not sure what's up with V's pic... tough shot angle ;)
Thats sure is a nice one.
Thanks guys! He's a regular at a New Property don't even have a stand up yet.
rjamesmac
very nice buck!
Checked cameras today , great shot
He will get the pass this year but young deer with good potential
You gotta GET IT DONE with that one. Awesome deer
Friends property only 2 acres . Gave me green light but he's never seen him in 3 years during daylight
What town is that . That's awesome I'd build a little cottage in the woods and not leave until I got him :) . The deer I got last year for 3 years gave me 5-6 pictures a year and then never show up again and never showed his face during shooting hours but last year he made his first mistake after 13 consecutive days in stand he was 6.5 year old deer. It's hard to find the time but last year I had it. Hope u get him that's an awesome animal
Git R Done
Git outa HERE!
That is one deer I would definitely shoot. Keep us updated.
Both here and in the MA forum I'm seeing some nice velvet bucks... Looks like the wet weather has provided good food to help them bounce back after a tough winter. Should be a fun fall!
You guys are killing me .. I couldn't take it anymore, I just drove to Cornwall and hung 7 cameras.
I noticed not many of the Apple trees had apples this Year, and acorns were dropping.
I just put one up last night too !
Nice, got some body weight to!
Silver
Nice deer! I'm glad I don't use trail cams, I'd be too excited to wait for the season to start!!
That's a mature slob right there. Nice photos.
Smoothie,
yeah, he's even got a beer belly working there!
I want that fat boy were are they ? all the same place ??
That buck is a tank! You won't have to second guess seeing him coming. Best of luck with him Dave.
Since u can't be there all the time Silverado ill happily cover your stand during all daylight hours... u know... just to keep it safe ;-) hahaha! What a buck you have! Hope to see that you tagged him this fall!
Some brutes there! Good luck hope they stick around for ya. All pics I have are small bucks, does and fawns. I only put out a couple cams though. Big guys never show themselves till early November
This guy is from last November. Never saw him while on stand. Hope he is still Round!!!
Lots of little bucks, its the biggest one at this property.
Not sure buck or doe, but I'm going with buck - just because this thread is for "new buck photos"
This is a "new" buck :)

Love those Plotwatcher Pros!

Two Cornwall Bears, one in the beginning then one at the end.
Awesome footage Nehunter. Nice looking mature buck - big slob. It's neat to see how they graze in field for about 10 miin and move on. Do you have time-lapse set for 1 hour so it doesn't use up batteries or memory? I have that feature on both my trailcams but never use it since I'm hunting deepwoods, swamplands and riverbottoms. You've convinced me perhaps I should give it a try regardless of the terrain; makes me wonder how much activity I'm missing using detection zone and trigger speed only.
Thanks for sharing.
Smoothie, Its set for 10 second delay in pics. I usually run at 5 seconds during the season.
It comes on at dusk and I turn it off at 8 am, back on at 5 pm then off at dark. The software allows you to take out segments and take single pictures.
Why not leave one in your tree stand on that river bottom? It will show what walks by all day. I own 3 of them now.
Palmated eating machine with split brow tine (play all).
Smoothie - That is a great looking buck!
Wilbur, what Town? Great Photos!

where in CT is moose taken!
Hope you find his sheds!!Thats cool to see when your in your stand.I saw one when I was bear hunting in maine it made my trip.Moose can move quietly when they want the one I saw came in with no noise.Very cool good luck.
I say that's a nice looking moose, as I sit here eating my moose meat burger for lunch!! It's good to have friends who moose hunt. I haven't had my cameras out yet but I almost hit a pretty big buck driving home on Wednesday evening. He looked to be in the 3 yr old range with about an 18" spread...a nice one for sure!
longbeard
I'd take a moose over venison any day. It's sooooooo good.
great pics guys.... good luck!
Nice pics Griz! The 8/17 pics like they were taken in the snow! Good lucking putting him down!
Good luck guys! fast approaching!!!!
Caught this doe doing a little apple picking!
Any one see any Bucks that have shed there velvet yet?
mine hadn't as of the last card pull on 9/7... pulling again tomorrow for last time before opener.
checked a camera yesterday and every buck I had on it still had their velvet. I had a 6 and two 4 pointers in velvet still
"Bear with lots of bling"
Too bad you can't give'm a body piercing.
Nicest buck I have on camera, would you guys shoot it early season or give it time? plan on being in the woods tuesday.
I want to start collecting European mounts for the new man cave. So I would wait till it sheds the velvet. (At least I like to pretend I would have the self restraint but who knows if it comes in 30yrds :)
I'll be out in a ghillie suit at my new spot at 5:30 am Monday. What time do you guys get set up at this time of year?
Time for what? It's not gonna grow anymore? If you like him and think he's big enough and you get a clean shot take him. If not, give him a pass at least you will give him a chance at getting older, if ya shoot him he never will.
