Well, the archery tags went fast this morning, and I was stuck in a meeting unable to get what I wanted. SO... Box Elder is the only unit left. Has anyone hunted this unit before? Is it worth trying? It's huge, but mostly salt flats and wasteland it seems like. Let me know!

Funny----as we both had similar circumstances via the job and I didn't get on until after I got home---

Yes it will be! I've never hunted such low elevation so early in the season. No coats needed! What area are you thinking of scouting? PM me if you wish.

I have spent some time in the Newfoundland Mnts. on Sheep (Cali. Rams not Rocky's) and some time on the HogUps with Chukar guzzler projects so I will prolly stay south of the 'pavement' instead of up in the Raft River range.....
