I watched one snatch one of our laying hens at one in the afternoon last week in North Salem NY. which is right over the line from Ridgefield. We have several sightings a year on the nursery where I work.

I've been seeing bobcats here in Washington for over 10 years. They are well established.

Yeah love the wildlife. Check out the hen pen that needs a chainlink fence and hardware cloth to keep out predators. Oh and the electric fencing to keep deer out of garden boxes. As the bobcat runs thru the yard.

OTH,

some people put little cut out tin on the electric fence and put peanut butter so that deer lick them they get shock. They learn to stay away faster because the tonge is more sensitive. They do that at a farm I hunt.
