It's been two months, but I finally can shoot with both eyes open. The hard part was overcoming right eye dominance and being a left hand shooter.

Compound, right? Usually folks just switch hand. Of course, you do have a sight, and that adjustment makes the crossover easier. Congratulations.

Steve you gotta practice, I just increased my distance 40 yards. It takes time but it is better in the long run.

My son is backwards too. He has to shoot one eye closed. No way around it...his dominant eye always takes over.
Good luck to you if you have found a way to do it.

I've always shot with both eyes open, bow, pistol, shotgun. One eye is for scopes, peepsights, and any long gun with a front and rear sight. Thats it.
