Just wondering what type of broadheads do you use? mechanical or fixed blade? I shoot 100gr. spitfires and killzones. they are a mechanical broad head and I've had great success with them. They fly great out to 80 yards.

I like the 4 blade slick tricks & muzzy phantoms, out of my compound device {lol} and I like the magnus stingers and buzz cuts out of my recurve. I also shoot some magnus 2 & 4 blades that I sharpen, snuffers and I have killed a few deer with the Killzone expandables ! I like broadheads---Don't I Jimmy ? ^:}

God bless---->Ron

I prefer the Magnus 4-blade heads. As everyone has stated there are alot of broadheads that will work fine. I believe, on what ever head you choose, that it needs to fly straight and you can't have a broadhead to sharp. I have seen to many people over the years that really don't understand how important it is to have razor sharp broadheads. If they have been shot once, they are not sharp enough to use again without resharpening. I am not a big fan of expandable's, just to many working parts that can go wrong. On marginal shots most, expandable's do not perform well.

I've hunted with the Montec G5's for the last 2-3 years. I have found every deer I shot, but have been less than impressed by the lack of blood even on nearly perfectly placed shots. I tried spitfires years ago, but lost a pretty nice deer that was quartering away. Arrow only penetrated a couple inches, which makes me believe it never opened. I'm considering switching back to a different brand of mechanical head. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Mark

Rage----Hypodermic-----My cousin Mark just shot and killed a 19 1/2 P&Y class bear. Complete pass thru----blood a blind man {pun intended} could follow. I like blood---impressed me.

There are a lot of broadbeads out there to pick from,but I have always liked magnus broadbeads.I use the 125 stingers, they fly like field points, and they have a lifetime warranty.
