I am using both this year.

Glad to see there is some openness and acceptance of the crossbow! As we get older it's harder to pull and hold the compound, but I too will be out with both this season.

I went to a xbow last year because of shoulder surgery but plan to use both this year.

I figure I'm gonna try to hold off until I can't pull back/ hold 40 pounds on the bow. Until them, I'll do my best to stay away from the xbow. Not because I hate them but because I love the challenge of the bow.

Got to admit Id rather use a bow for the challenge(and always have) but Ill be using a xbow this year.

Not me. Not even a compound. Mostly longbow, w/some recurve mixed in.

Not me....I tried my dad's new Xbow last year in Jan and didn't care for it bulky and impossible to reload in a treestand. I'll stick with my bow

i will be using my x bow

Why would I? I'm not old (yet) and I'm not disabled...I know its legal but in my mind I feel no need to go there and as someone mentioned above, "impossible to reload in a treestand"

I will use my xbow because its accurate to 80 yards.

Now if they would just legalize PODS.

Impossible to load from a treestand? I can load mine blindfolded in the stand, not difficult in the least.

I love both and will be using both but mostly my compound. I'm going guided in Ohio where Xbow is legal but will be leaving it home. I do much prefer the compound but I have fun with my Xbow too.

LOL Crow!

I'm using both this year.

May even hunt with a traditional bow, muzzle loader, pistol, and a shot gun.

I like to still hunt with my shot gun when the conditions are right and will most likely still hunt with the crossbow and recurve and stand hunt with my compound.
