Take a look if you like to see a future in deer hunting.
Joined this group this past weekend
No thanks, I 'll keep the money and control in WI.
They haven't asked for any money.
They haven't asked for any money. If a national group had enough clout then maybe something could be done on the Federal level, all the Federal lands in the north could use some persuasion. RGS, RMEF have had some impact here.
Looks like a QDMA wannabe. Ask the Minnesota boys how QDMA "The voice of whitetail hunters nationwide" did them this year.
Smokey us farts know where this is headed. A few guys making big bucks per year under the ruse of helping outdoors men.
Every see the payroll of some of the other orgs ? What a joke.

QDMA brings in 2 Million per year top line, tax free.....Nuff said.
Modern deer hunter I am not! More of a throw back, at least I hope.
We have plenty of good deer organizations here in Wisconsin.
Buckmaster, name one that has any impact on deer hunting in the north and on National Forest lands.
I agree that a lot of orgs. just line the pockets of a few members and have had little to no impact but there is a need to get a voice that does something.
I wish more, ALL bowhunters were members of WBH so that group would have some influence but it seems as though too few will join. Also I have not seen much from WBH regarding National Forest management.
I know that WBH directors have limited time and I would would be willing to give them advice regarding what they can do in Federal direction. I have mentioned that in the past so maybe once again the offer stands.
My application is in for WBH Smokey. What ever volunteer work I can do, just let me know. Would love to help out in preserving our sport for future generations.
Great va_born. Give your local director a call or email and start from there.

As long as you are a WBH member, you are welcome to speak at any of our board meetings with ideas on how to improve bowhunter opportunity in WI. In fact, we wish we had more members being active with us.
If you cannot attend, please send me your information/plan and I will present it to our board.
Unfortunately, grouping hunters together is much like corraling chickens. Each hunter has their own opinion on how to hunt, equipment and methods. It's nearly impossible to side with one without upsetting the opposite. If hunters could put aside these differences and look towards a common goal, we would be much more effective and efficient.
Ironically, these differences amoung hunters is used effectively against us.
Hope the WBH changes in the response to ideas etc., that members have. I sent signed copy of a letter to all directors back years ago on a topic that was/is a "hot" issue and only one responded, that lackadaisical attitude/approach,Left a lasting memory on the leadership or lack of and the direction it was headed.

Geitz, I will do that, again. I cannot afford to get to the board meetings or convention so it will be in the mail in a few weeks. In the past it went to the office or in conversation with other directors. Much of what will be shown has been brought to this forum in the past as well.
The critical thing here is that it is not the DNR and hunting regs but HABITAT and the USFS.
And bowhunters, join WBH so YOUR sport can be defended.
Either mail it to me or the office in care of me.
