Turkey poults

The last few days I have been seeing a lot of hens but very few poults. I saw 5 hens this morning and not one little one and yesterday saw 4 hens with only 3 little ones around them. Did we have too wet of a spring and summer this year for them???

I have seen more this year than I have seen in the past several years. Seems like Pocahontas Co. is starting to build back up pretty good. Seeing alot up there. Around home in Mercer Co. seeing smaller flocks of poults, but I am seeing several flocks.

We have tons of turkey here and I have just been seeing a lot of hens without any - I just got a pic of a coyote on a trail cam last night so looks like I may need to get the predator call out....

You have my permission and moral support. Tape a picture of me on your bow. That way you will know I'm there with you as you go thru the ups and downs of trying to get a Wiley coyote.
