In fairness, the way Wisconsin structured Bow Hunting this year, the crossbow guys should be allowed to compete head-to-head with the regular archers. Better move those targets back 40 to 50 feet.

Just make us crossbowers shoot free handed and a recurve guy will win every time,Compounds are not real bows

What is the average shot distance in these shoots? I remember from about 20 years ago the shot distance average was probably about 20yds on most broadhead shoots I entered.

", the crossbow guys should be allowed to compete head-to-head with the regular archers"
They have a separate shoot although it's held at the same time, same targets, same days, same place, they register scores separate which of course makes it a completely separate shoot.:)

Sounds like there is going to be nice weather all 3 days. 70's and mostly sunny. Nice camping weather at nights too.

They have considered moving it and the consensus from the board and surveyed members is leave it there. Labor day weekend more people are with families. etc.
One year I was out west hunting elk. Shot an elk and made it back for the shoot.
