Came across this stand today on state land in the nw corner. It's an API climber about eight feet up. Pm me if it's yours. I'm in the same area and don't want to mess up anyone else's hunt. Would rather work together than step allover each other's toes.

Leave a note on the stand for them to contact you. I did that two years ago on the watershed property. Turns out our stands were 50 yds apart. I was there first but we spoke and worked out a schedule where it worked for both of us, we remained in contact throughout the season and kept each other updated with sightings. Last year he didn't get a permit for the cws but told me an area that looked. Good and that I may want to hang a set, Took his advice scouted it and put a stand up and had multiple encounters there. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't. But it's worth a shot.

I am pulling my camera next Saturday and will leave a note. I have a stand about 80 yards on the other side of the thicket and just dont want to be bumping him or vise versa. Hopefully it works out,otherwise I will relocate thats why I use a climber 90% of the time

I've seen guys leave a climber at the base of a tree but not 8' up. Seems weird!
