Will you be out there? First doe in sight or waiting on a buck? Strategy?

I'll be out there! I'm waiting for a nice buck because I know he's there and frequenting the area. I'll be hunting over different types of food the first couple days trying to catch him filling up his belly. Goodluck all!

i wasnt thinking and scheduled to fish a bass tournament that day!!! i went out on a limb and bought a pack of toxics so i will probably fill the grill with a big doe first to see how they work. its gonna be hard to match the quality of the slick tricks. my only skeptisim with the toxic is the meat funneling through those blades and if that will impeded penetration.. we shall see!

With a two deer a day option, does are in danger. I typically kill two does a year anyways and try to only harvest a better buck. Actually, a three doe bow season is just fine with me.

I'm holding out for a zebra striped piebald nontypical 12 point that nets at least 150.

Gobbler we have one of those on our land but it will only go about 140 so we are going to let it grow another year.

I might as well be the first but "if it's brown it's down"

Since they are kinda rare, I could lower my standards a bit.

What's a buck? Ain't they on the endangered species list or something?

First decent Doe. Strategy is to sit opening morning in a break that sits on a hill between a couple hay fields and provides the greatest view of majority of the farm and see what is happening.

Cobbler I hear you but he is only three years old. We have to wait til he has reached his maturity.;-)
