4 fawns, 3 does....all from the road in fields. I have seen quite a few fawns this year and lots of young turkeys.

Are the fawns you're seeing still have spots? I had a small deer about 20 yd, no spots. Thought it might have been born this spring.

I saw 1 spike and 1 young doe with a fawn that had a couple spots left on it this AM in Prospect. Passed them up and had them go under my stand and bed down 30-40 yards from me at 7:15 am

I've got four different does visiting my yard almost every day. Only one doe had twins up until about 3 weeks ago....haven't seen them since, but she shows up all the time, alone. I do have plenty of coyote activity here as well. Neighbor has shot four this year already....and they keep coming.

I was complaining last Year about lack of Fawns in NW corner. But this Year is a lot different, Fawns are almost with every Doe I see. Big change for my area.

5 Does 3 fawns in Colchester this week. Also not seeing as many deer in total as I have in the past opening weeks. No bucks yet.

I have a doe with a single spotted fawn in my yard every day. They hit my veggie garden pretty hard. I was chasing them off before the season opener. The doe actually took and aggressive stance and pinned her ears staring me down the first time before running off. Now they both are avoiding the garden until dark. Once that fawn is gone she's on the hit list. The nerve of some deer!!!! I've seen some dry does and a couple with fawns this year. Mostly single fawns. Coyotes are tough on them but they can't get them all.

Seen a bunch of fawns this year. Passed on a mom the other day with two in spots still. Trail cams have caught a lot of doubles this year all over the area.
