Just kidding, I agree with all of the above, In fact I just spoke to him this morning.
Kevin has done deer, a bear, fish and birds for me, and he just finished my Moose. All of them are amazing. It's not that unusual to find a Taxidermist who is good at one thing, but Kevin is great at everything. Good guy too.
Ed, you should ask him to save you some knees, he must get a lot of them passing through his shop.

I think deer are already caped by the time he gets them. The bones are in the hind knees.
I should get in contact with a butcher. I bet they get a lot.

Rix, did you cape out that deer for that mount? How was that done? Also is the rub tree one that buck rubbed?
I caped it out. When I did the legs I followed the line where the white and brown hair came up the legs leaving the bone in from the knee down.
