Just got off the DNR site from purchasing my additional RB stamps and Bear Damage Stamp and thought I would sign on here and wish everyone good luck for the fast approaching season.
Acorns are falling heavy here in my little part of Berkeley county, sort of strange - acorns are everywhere and I am not seeing any squirrels! Seeing plenty of deer and turkey but have not seen one squirrel- last year there seemed to be a dozen squirrels in each tree.
Wonder why the tele-check-in system will not be starting until Spring? I hope WV did not get the same group who set up the government health care system online!
Well, good luck and be safe!!!

I just bought my extra buck, doe and bear tags...
The regs say the bear limit is 2, provided 1 is killed in sevarl counties....However, when i bought my bear tag it would only let me buy 1....IS it good for both?

They thought they would test the system out with a smaller number of gobbler kills to see how it worked and to see if any bugs needed to be fixed over the summer before it got overwhelmed with deer, bear, and turkey.
A smaller test period if you will.

Good luck everyone. Be safe and use a safety vest. Make sure you are attached in the stand and going up and down. An accident can happen in a split second.
