Oh yes will be holding out for the big one lol and full draw I hunt on a property that is completely over run with deer we get the permits requested to take doe so before you try to slam me yes I fill my first 3 tags quick then hunt hard for the rest of the season for that deer of a lifetime can't eat the horns anyway goodluck guys hope you whack a monster buck and don't waste your tags on just doe !!!

Would love to have a full freezer and the opportunity to sit on a monster for the rest of the season. On the land I hunt I'm lucky to get 2 deer each year over all the seasons. Hope you wack a monster. Enjoy the rest of the season

Congrats man.... I don't know why some guys on here get so worked up about what other people shoot. If the guy wants to blow all his tags on does so be it! Some guys are just meat hunters and does taste better and the horns don't even make good soup! That being said most guys luv big bucks but each to his own.....

I like to do the same thing. Get the meat taken care of then focus on a nice buck for the remainder of the season.
I've had seasons where I was picky in the beginning and ended up short. You just never know how the season will play out. Good job!

I think Fulldraw was referring to the drop in deer density over the last several seasons.....everyone complaining about the lack of deer seen last year(s)....and all the does being killed. You want more deer in years to come - let the does have lots of babies. That's my take.
